These gauges are used for conrolling diameter tolerances of snap cylindrical pieces' external diameters.A snap gauge is made from carbide and has a crescent shape at the two edges.Both crescent shaped edges are quite sensitive and processed at the ±0,001 diameter integrity.Two sided snap gauges' big side works as 'go' ,little side works as 'no go'.
